The majority of our engagements are wedding receptions, most of which are in central Scotland, although we do travel throughout the UK and abroad.
Most of our work comes from word of mouth from guests at functions or from recommendations from hotels where we regularly perform; from the finest hotels such as the Brig O'Doon, Turnberry & Gleneagles to the more intimate local establishments.
Generally a full evening would be a three or four hour ceilidh, although occasionally the client prefers to finish the evening with a disco, and we finish a little earlier. We usually start with a waltz, with the bride and groom on the floor, giving guests the opportunity to get some photos. The rest of the bridal party are then encouraged onto the floor before we get everyone up and put the ceilidh into full swing.
